A MacDonald Safety Corridor Protocol Series Seminar

Calgary, Alberta | Saturday, June 6th, 2026 | 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

limited to 20 Chiropractors

Why This Seminar Matters

The pelvis and pelvic floor are two of the most under-addressed gateways to regulation in the body. These regions influence:

  • Vagal tone

  • Breath mechanics

  • Posture and gait

  • Core stability

  • Global fascial tension

  • Resilience in aging populations

Yet they are rarely addressed through a Polyvagal and fascial lens. Today’s stressed, sedentary, and aging patients need this work more than ever.

This seminar will give you a clinically grounded, neurologically respectful framework that amplifies the impact of your existing adjusting technique without requiring you to change who you are or how you practice.

Unlocking the pelvis and pelvic floor, a MacDonald Safety Corridor Protocol series

Saturday, June 6th, 2026 | Calgary Marriott Downtown Hotel

Learning Objectives

This seminar is structured to provide chiropractors with advanced knowledge and practical skills. Upon completion, participants will be better able to:

Explore the Science of Sensation

Gain a deeper understanding of the neurological pathways that innervate the pelvic region. This module will cover the sensory-motor connection, afferent signaling, and how these principles inform a more nuanced clinical assessment of the pelvis.

Understand the Role of Fascia

Review the current scientific understanding of fascia as a dynamic, innervated tissue. The course will examine the fascial architecture of the pelvis and discuss its mechanical and proprioceptive role in pelvic function. Participants will learn to consider the fascial system in their overall assessment of the pelvic girdle.

Learn to Assess the Pelvis to Support Pelvic Floor Function

This module focuses on assessing the pelvis as a dynamic structure. It will cover the biomechanical relationships between the sacrum, coccyx, ilium, and pubic symphysis and how their alignment and mobility can influence the function of the associated pelvic floor musculature. The focus is on developing a comprehensive assessment framework.

Apply the Pelvic Floor Protocol

This section provides hands-on instruction in the Pelvic Floor Protocol, a component of the MacDonald Safety Corridor Protocol series. This protocol is a systematic approach for applying specific inputs to the pelvic region. The objective is for practitioners to learn and practice the application of these inputs.

 What You’ll Walk Away With

You’ll leave with clear, repeatable principles and protocols you can apply to the pelvis and pelvic floor, regardless of the chiropractic adjusting technique you currently use. This work is technique-agnostic by design. Rather than asking you to change how you adjust, it shows you how to amplify the regulatory impact of the adjustment you already deliver.

Who Should Attend

This seminar is designed for any chiropractor, regardless of prior experience with the pelvic floor, who is interested in expanding their knowledge and assessment skills in the following areas:
•The biomechanics of the pelvic girdle and sacroiliac region
•The role of the pelvic floor in core stabilization and intra-abdominal pressure regulation
•Postpartum musculoskeletal changes and recovery
•The relationship between pelvic function and chronic low back pain presentations
•Advanced manual assessment techniques for the pelvic region

You’ll also learn how to implement the Safety Sandwich to improve access to the nervous system before, during, and after your adjustment. This approach helps reduce threat, increase receptivity, and support vagal signaling, allowing your adjustments to be more effective with less effort and a lower likelihood of unexpected or exaggerated responses. The result is a calmer experience for both you and the patient, and more predictable clinical outcomes over time.

What Chiropractors Are Saying About the MacDonald Safety Corridor Protocol

The MacDonald Safety Corridor Protocol was designed to enhance, not replace, the chiropractic techniques doctors are already using. Chiropractors consistently share that the protocol gives them clearer neurological feedback, greater confidence at the table, and a deeper sense of regulation in their practice members.

Here’s what doctors are saying after attending the seminar:

“The MacDonald Safety Corridor Protocol adds tweaks to your current adjustments to bring you to the next level of care. It adds an extra layer of checks to amplify what you are already doing. It is suitable for every technique and is not overly time-consuming to add to what you are already doing.”

“I would describe it as a way to assess trauma-holding patterns in the body and a toolbox or skillset to be able to alleviate that stress locally to provide a sense of neurological safety globally.”

“This excellent protocol works perfectly in line with a principled chiropractic approach to assessing the spine and nervous system. The enhancements of this protocol can apply to any technique, and the intertwined polyvagal concepts bring greater clarity to care.”

“It’s a protocol that helps you understand and identify when the nervous system is operating from a threat or defensive dynamic and guides you toward calming and bringing the system into a state of ease.”

“This weekend was exactly what I needed. It was filled with knowledge, skill, connection, and community. I left feeling inspired and excited for practice on Monday. I would love to do this seminar again as there was so much valuable information. I highly recommend it. Don’t think twice about signing up. You will not regret it.”

We hope to see you in Calgary!
