MacDonald Safety Corridor Protocol – Module A

Calgary | June 6, 2026 | Downtown Marriott

The MacDonald Safety Corridor Protocol – Module A is designed for chiropractors who want to apply polyvagal theory at the adjusting table, not just understand it conceptually.

This seminar provides a clear, repeatable framework for assessing and adjusting the upper spine, cranial system, and upper safety corridor through a nervous-system lens. You’ll learn how to recognize states of safety and threat in real time and how to adjust with presence, precision, and intent rather than relying on rigid sequences or force.

A central focus of Module A is the Social Engagement System. We will break down the five cranial nerves involved in social engagement and show you how to use them as clinical indicators of the depth of regulation you aim to create with your adjustments. This gives you observable, neurological feedback rather than guesswork.

Module A is about improving access to the nervous system.
It’s about knowing when to adjust, where to adjust, and how to deliver input the system can actually receive.

No technique changes required.
No dogma.
Just a deeper understanding of how chiropractic input interacts with regulation.

This seminar is ideal for chiropractors who want their adjustments to land deeper, hold better, and create more consistent post-adjustment regulation.

What People Are Saying:

I would say the MacDonald Safety Corridor is a more in-depth way of assessing and adjusting - using modified adjustments which will enhance the ones we already use in practice. I believe if more of us adjust like this we will have a much more relaxed community.

This excellent protocol works perfectly in line with a principled Chiropractic approach to assessing the spine and nervous system. The enhancements of this protocol can apply to any technique, and the intertwined polyvagal approach makes sense - physiologically and anatomically. This is one of the most patient-centered approaches I’ve seen!

I believe that every Chiropractor should be adjusting thru a Polyvagal lens. It just makes sense once you understand what that even means! lol. Don and Brandi do a magnificent job of explaining the Polyvagal theory and provide examples of simple changes you can make in your office on Monday morning to be a more effective Chiropractor.
