THE MACDONALD SAFETY CORRIDOR SHOULDERS AND PELVIC FLOOR

Location:  MONTREAL, QUEBEC, CANADA

Le Centre Sheraton Montreal Hotel

Join Dr. Don and Brandi MacDonald in Montreal on Feb 7, 2026, for a brand-new MacDonald Safety Corridor Protocol Seminar focused on applying Polyvagal principles to checking and adjusting the shoulders, ribs, and pelvic floor. This hands-on training will explore the powerful neurological and fascial connections between these regions and how enhancing the Safety Corridor can amplify vagal regulation, improve interoception, and support whole-body balance. Perfect for chiropractors looking to deepen their understanding of neurologically focused chiropractic through a Polyvagal lens and elevate the regulatory impact of every adjustment.

A New Expansion of the Safety Corridor Protocol

Join Dr. Don and Brandi MacDonald for a powerful one day seminar exploring two of the most influential yet overlooked regions in chiropractic care: the shoulder complex and the pelvic floor.

This experience blends Polyvagal Theory, fascial research, and hands-on adjusting strategies to support better autonomic regulation and clinical outcomes.

This is the next evolution of the MacDonald Safety Corridor Protocol; however, attending a previous technique seminar is not required to join us at this one.

What You Will Learn

Adjusting Through a Polyvagal Lens

Discover how cues of safety, predictability, and timing shape the neurological impact of every adjustment. Learn how to work with sensitive regions without overwhelming the CNS.

The Shoulder and Pelvic Floor Connection

Explore the neurological and fascial links between these regions and understand why unresolved patterns often show up in both. See how these areas influence breath, gait, posture, and emotional expression.

Fascia and Aging

Learn the new science on fascial tension, hydration, mechanosensitivity, and lymphatic flow. Understand why fascia becomes a major clinical player as your patients age and how shoulder and pelvic floor adjusting can restore flow and stability.

Using the Safety Corridor

Integrate the Safety Corridor framework to access vagal pathways, improve interoception, and expand the effectiveness of your adjusting style.

Hands-On Adjusting Strategies

Develop confidence in assessing and adjusting the shoulders, upper ribs, and addressing the pelvic floor in ways that honour safety, predictability, and connection. Expect practical strategies you can use on Monday.

Why This Seminar Matters

The shoulders and pelvic floor are two of the most under addressed gateways to regulation. They influence:

  • Vagal tone

  • Breath mechanics

  • Posture and movement

  • Emotional expression

  • Stability and power

  • The entire functional chain

And yet they are rarely addressed through a Polyvagal and fascial lens.

For today’s stressed and aging population this work is becoming essential.

This seminar will give you a framework that is both clinically powerful and neurologically respectful.

Who Should Attend

This seminar is ideal for:

  • Chiropractors seeking a deeper hands-on approach to regulation

  • New grads wanting clarity and confidence

  • Experienced practitioners wanting to expand impact without changing their core technique

  • Any clinician interested in Polyvagal Theory, fascia, and neurology-based practice

  • Chiropractors who are looking to add something to their already very effective adjusting, with the intention of amplifying the regulatory effects of their care.

Dr. Emir

I would say the MacDonald Safety Corridor Protocol is a more in depth way of assessing and adjusting - using modified adjustments which will enhance the ones we already use in practice. I believe if more of us adjust like this, we will have a much more relaxed community
